Bristol’s Lawi Anywar releases the double a side Bad Acting/Clyde on Friday, the 22nd of May, and is playing some shows about it across the UK in June. Combining the cathartic volume of Shoegaze and Post-Rock with the hypnotic, bassy textures of Funk and Hip Hop, Lawi’s live shows are an experience in tension, release, and anthemic hooks, brought to life in full technicolour with the help of the naughtiest players from Bristol’s Experimental Rock and Jazz scenes.
