Tallsaint – Industrial pop tracks of obsession, anxiety and womanhood, with electronic synths and 404 beats, makes up the musical DNA of Leeds based musician and songwriter Tallsaint.   Tallsaint writes on big themes, with the hooks and beats to match – her industrial pop sound has unfurled into powerful snapshots of euphoria and anxiety all at once, having been compared to the sounds of St. Vincent and Roisin Murphy.  But beyond these ingredients is a healthy pinch of fragile lo-fi house, elastic baselines and the fragile soul of LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip, earning Tallsaint’s distinct sound support from Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Spotify and Self Esteem and Woman’s Hour who picked her to go on tour with them. After passive-aggressive disco cut ‘Skin Deep’, the profound titular track ‘Hard Love’ and uplifting single ‘Warm Skin’, Tallsaint demonstrates her colourful sonic dynamism in the form of her debut EP Hard Love, out 15th July via Dance to The Radio.

“Warm Skin’ [by Tallsaint] is the best kind of dance song in the sense that it functions as a celebration of those rare and pure moments when we find our guard lowered and our hearts are filled with uncomplicated joy.” The 405

“Hypnotic warehouse pop, it’s an elastic, spring-loaded feel reminiscent of other similarly artful dance-inspired projects such as Little Dragon”.  The Line of Best Fit
